Important	Read these Safety Guidelines,the User Manual,in-App prompts,and all warnings before use.Product specifications,certification markings,and available features may vary by region.Please refer to the product label,in-app information,and official documentation in your purchase region for the most accurate and up-to-date information.

Safety at a Glance

Iris Green is a laser projection product.Do not stare into the projection lens or aim the projection beam at any person’s eyes.
Do not operate the App,phone,or device controls while riding unless you are safely stopped.
Do not charge the device in water,rain,heavy moisture,or while the USB-C port or charging cable is wet.
Install the mount firmly before riding.Stop using the device if the mount,housing,cable,port,or lens appears damaged.
Follow local traffic laws.Iris Green is an assistive display only and does not replace your duty to observe the road.

1.Laser and Eye Safety

The device uses micro-projection technology and is marked with an eye-exposure warning.Keep the projection lens away from your own and other people’s eyes when powering on,testing,adjusting,or using the device.
Do not allow children to play with the device.Keep the device out of reach of children when charging or stored.
Do not use optical instruments,magnifiers,or reflective surfaces to view the projected beam.
If you experience eye discomfort after accidental exposure,stop using the device and seek medical advice.

2.Riding and Road Safety

Use Iris Green only in a manner permitted by local traffic,cycling,and road-safety rules.
Before departure,complete route planning,device connection,projection angle,brightness,and mount checks.
Do not rely only on projected navigation.Road conditions,closures,traffic signals,pedestrians,and vehicles always take priority.
Do not adjust settings,upload assets,search routes,or read long information on the phone while riding.
Slow down or stop before complex intersections,poor road surfaces,crowded areas,tunnels,and low- visibility environments.

3.Charging,Battery,and Power Safety

Use a certified USB-C charger and cable that meet applicable safety standards and the product’s rated input requirements.
Before charging,make sure the USB-C port,charging cable,charger,and your hands are dry.
Do not charge near flammable materials,on soft bedding,under pillows,inside a closed bag,or in direct sunlight.
Do not leave the device unattended for long periods while charging.Disconnect the charger after charging is complete.
Do not use damaged,swollen,leaking,overheated,or abnormal batteries or devices.Stop use immediately and contact support.
Do not disassemble,pierce,crush,heat,burn,or short-circuit the device or battery.
If the device falls into water or another liquid,power it off if safe to do so,disconnect any cable, place it in an open dry area,and do not charge or use it until inspected.

4.Water,Weather,and Environment

Unless a specific waterproof rating is stated in the official product label or manual for your unit,do not treat the device as waterproof.
Do not immerse the device in water,use it underwater,rinse it under high-pressure water,or expose the USB-C port to liquid.
Do not charge during rain,near sinks,in bathrooms,beside pools,or in any wet outdoor environment.
Avoid corrosive liquids,salt water,chemicals,solvents,oils,and unknown liquids.
Avoid use or storage in extreme heat,near fire,inside a parked vehicle on a hot day,or in dusty and sandy environments.

5.Installation,Cleaning,and Maintenance

Use only compatible mounts and accessories.Confirm all screws,clips,and locks are secure before each ride.
Do not install the device where it blocks lights,brakes,controls,cables,or your normal line of sight.
Clean the lens and housing with a soft,dry microfiber cloth.Do not use alcohol,corrosive cleaners, sprays,or abrasive tools.
Do not insert sharp objects into the USB-C port,indicators,seams,vents,or lens area.
Do not self-repair or modify the device.Unauthorized disassembly may create safety risks and affect warranty eligibility.

6.Firmware Updates and App Use

Before updating firmware,make sure the phone and device have sufficient battery and remain connected.
Do not power off the device,close the App,disconnect Bluetooth,or start riding during a firmware update.
Use only official App releases and official update prompts.Features and safety notices may change with version updates.

7.Disposal and Recycling

Do not dispose of the device or battery in ordinary household waste where separate electronic or battery recycling is required.
Follow local rules for electronic waste and lithium battery recycling.
If the device is damaged,overheated,swollen,leaking,or has been exposed to liquid,consult local recycling or hazardous-waste guidance before disposal.

8.Warning and Caution Definitions

9.Before First Use Checklist

Read the User Manual,Safety Guidelines,App permission prompts,and product labels.
Fully charge the device in a dry indoor environment before the first long ride.
Inspect the USB-C port,charging cable,mount,lens,and housing for damage or foreign objects.
Pair the device with the App before riding and confirm that the battery level and firmware status are normal.
Adjust the projection angle while stopped.Confirm the projected information appears on the road surface and not toward people,windows,vehicles,or reflective objects.
Confirm that the device does not block lights,brakes,cables,steering,phone mounts,bike computer mounts,or your field of view.

10.Charging Do’s and Don’ts

Disconnect the charger after charging is complete.	Do not use a damaged cable,loose adapter, swollen device,or abnormal battery condition.

11.Riding Use Scenarios Requiring Extra Care

Busy intersections,roundabouts,narrow roads,tunnels,bridges,construction areas,steep downhill sections,and mixed pedestrian zones.
Night rides with strong oncoming headlights,rain glare,reflective road markings,snow,fog,or wet pavement.
Group rides or events where projected animations may distract other riders,pedestrians,or drivers.
Roads where projection onto public surfaces,signs,vehicles,or private property may be restricted by local rules.

12.User-Generated Projection Content Safety

Do not project content that imitates traffic signs,traffic lights,emergency signals,police instructions, lane markings,or official warnings.
Do not project flashing,strobing,high-contrast,offensive,frightening,or misleading content in public road environments.
Do not use copyrighted logos,event marks,portraits,or third-party materials unless you have permission.
Choose simple,high-contrast content that can be understood quickly and does not require prolonged attention while riding.

13.Storage,Transport,and Long-Term Non-Use

Store the device in a cool,dry,ventilated location away from direct sunlight,heaters,fire,and heavy objects.
Do not store the device in a hot vehicle or in places where children can access it.
Before transport,power off the device and protect the lens and USB-C port from scratches,dust,and liquid.
If the device will not be used for an extended period,charge it periodically and inspect it before the next ride.
Follow airline,train,and local transport rules for electronic products with lithium batteries.

14.Stop Use and Contact Support

Stop use if the device overheats,smells abnormal,emits smoke,leaks liquid,makes unusual sounds, or shows battery swelling.
Stop use after heavy impact,crash,water immersion,port damage,lens damage,or mount failure.
Do not attempt to dry the device with a hair dryer,microwave oven,heater,oven,open flame,or compressed air.
Contact Ainstec support and provide product model,App version,firmware version,purchase channel, photos,and a description of the issue.

15.Privacy and Data Security

During the use of the Iris Green device and the Ainstec Iris App,certain user information and device data may be collected,used,stored,and protected in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and the Privacy Policy.Such data may arise from functions including account login,device connection,cycling records,navigation planning,content upload,feedback submission,firmware updates,and after-sales support.

14.1 Types of Data That May Be Involved

Depending on the features used by the user,the Ainstec Iris App may process the following types of information:

Account Information:such as email address,third-party login identifiers,nickname,and avatar,used for registration,login,account management,and user identification.
Device Information:such as device name,device model,Bluetooth connection status,battery level, firmware version,and app version,used for device pairing,connection management,firmware updates,and troubleshooting.
Cycling and Location Data:such as GPS location,route planning,cycling duration,speed,distance, elevation,and calorie consumption,used for navigation,cycling analytics,and historical records.
User-Generated Content:such as images,videos,animation materials uploaded by users,as well as comments,likes,favorites,and follows,used for content management,projection display,and community interaction features.
Feedback and After-Sales Information:such as issue descriptions,screenshots,device version, purchase channel,and fault symptoms,used for issue diagnosis,customer support,and after-sales services.
The actual scope of data collection shall depend on the features enabled by the user,granted permissions,and the Privacy Policy.

14.2 Use of Location and Cycling Data

Navigation,free riding,and real-time data display features may require access to the device’s location services.Location data and related cycling information may be affected by GPS signal quality,network conditions,map data accuracy,device connectivity,and environmental obstructions.Therefore,route, speed,distance,and time data are for auxiliary reference only.

Users shall always rely on actual road conditions,traffic signals,on-site signage,and their own judgment when riding,and shall not rely solely on the App or projected information for traffic-related decisions.

If location permissions are disabled,certain features such as navigation,route planning,speed calculation, cycling records,and weather-related services may become unavailable or limited.

14.3 Content Upload and Public Content

When users upload,download,publish,or project images,videos,animation materials,comments,or other content via the App,they shall ensure that such content does not infringe upon any third-party

intellectual property rights,trademark rights,portrait rights,privacy rights,or other lawful rights and interests.

Users must not upload,publish,or project any content that is illegal,infringing,pornographic,violent, hateful,harassing,threatening,misleading to traffic safety,impersonates official warnings,or may

otherwise affect public safety.Users shall also not use any content to simulate traffic signs,signals, emergency signals,law enforcement instructions,lane markings,or other official indicators.

For public materials,comments,or user-generated interactions,Ainstec reserves the right to review, remove,restrict distribution,or take action against relevant accounts in accordance with the User

Agreement,Community Guidelines,and applicable laws and regulations.Users may report violating content through the in-app feedback or reporting mechanisms.

14.4 App Permission Usage

To enable device connectivity,navigation,cycling functions,content upload,and troubleshooting,the App may request the following permissions:

Bluetooth Permission:used to discover,pair,and connect with Iris Green devices.

Location Permission:used for route planning,navigation,speed calculation,cycling records,and weather- related features.

Photo/Media Permission:used for uploading images,videos,or selecting materials.

Camera Permission:used for capturing feedback images or uploading relevant photos.

Notification Permission:used for system alerts,device updates,interaction messages,and cycling-related

notifications.

Users may manage these permissions in their device settings.Disabling certain permissions may limit or disable corresponding features,but will not affect basic device power control or certain offline functions.

14.5 Data Security and Account Protection

Users are responsible for safeguarding their account credentials,passwords,and verification codes. Users shall not share accounts with others or log in on untrusted devices or insecure network environments.
If any abnormal login activity,unauthorized content posting,unusual device binding,or other security issues are detected,users should promptly change their password and contact Ainstec via in-app support or official channels.
Ainstec implements reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect user information security.However,the internet environment is not completely secure.Users should avoid including

sensitive personal information such as identity documents,home addresses,precise location data,or contact details when uploading public content,comments,or profile information.

14.6 Data Deletion and Account Management

Users may view,modify,or manage certain personal information,history records,content,and account settings within the App.For account deletion,data removal,permission revocation,or privacy setting adjustments,please refer to the in-app settings and the Privacy Policy.
If users wish to delete their account,withdraw consent,or inquire about personal data processing, they may contact Ainstec through in-app support or official channels.

14.7 Third-Party Services

Certain features of the Ainstec Iris App may rely on third-party services,including but not limited to third-party login providers,mapping services,navigation services,weather data providers,push notification services,cloud storage,or analytics services.The availability,accuracy,and data processing practices of such services are subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.
Changes in third-party services may affect feature availability,data accuracy,or service performance. The specific scope of available features and data handling practices shall be subject to the current App version,official documentation,and the Privacy Policy.
