This Privacy Policy explains how Artificial Intelligence and Sensing Technology Institute Co.,Ltd. (Ainstec,”we,”us,’or ‘our’)collects,uses,shares,protects,and retains information when you use the Ainstec Iris mobile application,related services,and compatible Iris Green device features.
Please read this Policy together with the Terms of Service and the product Safety Guidelines.Where the App requests system permissions,the permission prompt and related in-App disclosure will explain the relevant purpose.
1.Information We Collect
- Account information:email address,phone number where supported,password or verification information,account ID,login method,and account status.
- Profile information:nickname,avatar,gender,height,weight,riding preferences,and other optional information you choose to provide.
- Location information:approximate or precise device location used for route planning,real-time riding navigation,ride records,weather/location settings,and related features.If you enable navigation while the App is in the background or the screen is off,we may request background location permission.
- Device and connectivity information:Bluetooth and Wi-Fi permission status,paired Iris Green device identifiers,device name,firmware version,battery level,connection status,and diagnostic information needed for pairing,projection,updates,and support.
- Media and asset information:photos,videos,drawings,text,animation files,thumbnails,uploaded assets,downloaded assets,creator profile content,likes,follows ,favorites,and related metadata. Source media is processed locally by default unless you choose cloud or sharing features.
- Ride and usage information:route sessions,speed,distance,time,altitude,calorie estimates,tool history,feature interactions,logs,crash reports,IP address,device model,operating system,App version,language settings,and analytics events.
- Feedback and support information: issue descriptions,screenshots,photos,contact details, correspondence,and technical logs you submit to us.
2.How We Use Information
- Provide,personalize,maintain,and improve App and device functions,including navigation, projection,asset management,account sync,and firmware updates.
- Pair and communicate with Iris Green hardware through Bluetooth,Wi-Fi,and related system permissions.
- Process media and assets locally or,when you choose cloud functions,upload,store,convert,display, or distribute selected content.
- Provide customer support,troubleshoot issues,prevent abuse,secure accounts,and maintain service stability.
- Send service messages,security notices,update reminders,and responses to your feedback.
- Analyze aggregated or de-identified usage trends to improve performance and user experience.
- Comply with law,enforce our Terms,and protect rights,safety,and security.
3.Legal Bases for EEA/UK Users
Where applicable,we process personal data based on contract necessity,consent,legitimate interests, legal obligations,and protection of vital or public interests where recognized by law.You may withdraw consent at any time through system settings,in-App settings,or by contacting us,but some features may no longer work.
4.How We Share Information
- Service providers:cloud hosting,map and navigation providers,analytics,crash reporting,push notification,email,security,and customer support vendors that process information for us under contractual restrictions.
- Third-party login or platform providers:Apple,Google,Facebook,or app stores when you choose those login or platform functions.
- Other users:content and profile information you choose to publish or share may be visible to other users according to App features.
- Legal and safety reasons:when required by law,legal process,government request,rights protection, fraud prevention,or safety/security response.
- Business transfers:in connection with a merger,acquisition,financing,restructuring,or sale of assets, with appropriate notice where required.
We do not sell personal information.We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined under California privacy law.
5.Your Choices and Rights
- Permissions:you can manage location,Bluetooth,Wi-Fi,camera,photos,notifications,and other permissions in your device settings.
- Profile and content:you can update or delete certain profile information and user content through available App functions.
- Account deletion:if you created an account,you may request deletion through the App where available or by emailing legal@ainstec.cn.We will delete or anonymize associated data unless retention is required or permitted for security,fraud prevention,dispute resolution,legal compliance, or backup integrity.
- Access,correction,portability,objection,restriction,and deletion:depending on your region,you may have these rights.We may verify your identity before responding.
- California rights:California residents may request to know,access,correct,delete,and opt out of sale or sharing.Because we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising,no sale/share opt-out is required for those activities.
6.Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 16.We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.If you believe a child has provided information to us,contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
7.Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information,including encrypted transmission where appropriate,access controls,and local processing for source media by default.No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
8.International Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries or regions other than where you live.Where required,we use appropriate safeguards,such as contractual protections or other lawful transfer mechanisms.
9.Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy,including providing services,maintaining accounts,resolving disputes,securing the services, complying with law,and maintaining backups.Ride records,account data,and uploaded assets are generally retained while your account is active unless you delete them or request account deletion.

The App may link to or integrate third-party services.Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.Please review those policies before using third-party functions.

We may update this Policy from time to time.We will update the date above and,where required,notify you through the App,email,or other reasonable means.

- Login providers may process identifiers associated with Apple,Google,Facebook,or other selected login methods.
- Cloud hosting and storage providers may process account data,uploaded assets,profile data,and service logs when cloud features are used.
- Push-notification providers may process device tokens and notification delivery information.

- United States:state privacy laws may provide rights to access,delete,correct,and receive information about certain processing practices.
- California:we do not sell personal information and do not share personal information for cross- context behavioral advertising.
- European Economic Area and United Kingdom:users may have rights to access,rectify,erase, restrict,object,portability,withdraw consent,and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
- Other regions:we will respond to privacy requests according to applicable local law.

- Tell us the account email or phone number associated with your App account,if any.
- Describe the request,such as access,correction,deletion,portability,consent withdrawal,or account deletion.
- We may ask for reasonable verification information before acting on the request.
